While the aforementioned businesses operate differently in their geographies, they do share some similarities. These similarities include the list of challenges they faced. However, with the introduction of Digital Champ’s carefully crafted solutions, these challenges were met with stiff resistance.
The Challenges
ZenHR and GulfHR shared a list of challenges that had plagued their operations for some time. Let’s take a brief look at what their challenges looked like:
1
Absence of a USP/differentiating factor: Every business thrives on a differentiating factor. It is why a business becomes a brand in the long run. However, this wasn’t the case with ZenHR and GulfHR, as both organizations suffered from a lack of differentiating factors, especially in the UAE market. This resulted in traffic dilution across all channels, resulting in poor returns.
2
Service cannibalization: Both businesses suffered from “service cannibalization,” meaning their service pages started competing against each other on SEO grounds. This resulted from using the same keywords across multiple pages even if they didn’t share the same intent. Furthermore, it highlighted another aspect of the first challenge, the lack of unique services.
The Solution
Considering the impact of the aforementioned challenges on both businesses, our team of experts at Digital Champ came to these businesses’ aid with the following solutions:
1
Thorough competitor analysis: We began by listing the top competitors for both businesses so that they’d have a benchmark against which to compare. This resulted in a clear identification of priorities in the content and marketing domains.
2
Identifying services that didn’t overlap: After identifying the competitors, our focus shifted towards eliminating and optimizing services that were cannibalizing the website’s SEO metrics. Pages with an intent above 80% similar were optimized and even eliminated in some instances. This helped boost website loading times and reduced cannibalization to a great extent.
3
Targeted PPC campaigns: To establish these businesses as unique brands, we began thorough PPC campaigns on Google and Facebook. This resulted in an enhanced engagement rate with B2B ventures.
4
Specially tailored outreach campaigns: An email campaign catering to long-time subscribers and potential business partners ran on a carefully crafted calendar of our design. This move boosted leads and promoted the USPs that were previously missing.
